Hug in Heaven AI video

Q: How many photos do I need?

Two: Photo 1 is you; Photo 2 is the person you want to hug. One adult per photo, face clear.

Q: Can I use an old or black-and-white photo?

Yes, if the face is sharp and large enough. Crop so only your loved one is in the frame. Output is in color.

Q: What happens shot by shot?

You alone on the stairs; loved one appears in the light; you recognize them; you run up; a long hug with soft light and petals.

Q: Is it the same as a CapCut template?

It follows the same story — stairway, run, hug — but is made by a different AI model from a shot script. No CapCut app needed; MP4 has no watermark.

Q: Can I use a photo of a child?

No. We do not accept photos of children for either person.

Q: How much does it cost?

Each 720p video uses 500 credits ($8.88 in the smallest pack). Failed videos are refunded when generation is live.

Q: What happens to my photos?

Stored privately, sent to the model through short-lived links, never used for training, deleted with the video per our Privacy Policy.

What is the Hug in Heaven AI video?

The Hug in Heaven AI video is a short tribute: a person climbs a stairway of light through golden clouds, their loved one waits with open arms, and they finally hold each other again.

On TikTok it spread as a CapCut-style “dad in heaven” template and, around Día de Muertos, as a way to share ofrenda memories. On huginheaven.cc we film the scene again from your two photos as a vertical short with a soft original score.

This is an independent memorial fan tool. We do not claim affiliation with CapCut, TikTok, or any creator who popularized the trend.

Only use photos of your own family or loved ones who are adults (18+). Never minors or public figures.
